Take This Haunted Train Ride In North Carolina For Some Spooky Thrills
Year-round, Tweetsie Railroad is a place to visit for nostalgia, thrills, a train ride or two, and a back-in-time vibe. Yet, come October, things get extra spooky at Tweetsie. The charming daytime facade turns into a haunted amusement park full of mischief and mayhem. You can experience it for yourself this fall.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
The Tweetsie Ghost Train is back this year with even more thrill than the following years. Hop on board as conductor Casey Bones takes you through the mountains on a dark night.
Aside from the Ghost Train there's also a haunted house, halloween shows on main street, a 3-D maze, a black hole, trick-or-treating, a freaky forest, warp tunnel, and black light show.
Things get extra spooky at Tweetsie every Friday and Saturday until the end of October. Admission is $36 per person with children under 2 in for free. Advanced tickets are required. This is something that your children, and even you, will remember forever!
Fall in North Carolina is the absolute best, especially when you can hop on board a haunted train ride and experience fun before and after! I absolutely love Tweetsie and this iconic event is a must-do! Have you hopped on board for the Ghost Train before or plan to now?
