Soco Falls Is A Scenic Outdoor Spot In North Carolina That’s A Nature Lover’s Dream Come True
When it comes to waterfalls, North Carolina is in its own league. With hundreds of waterfalls peppering the state, you don’t have to go too far to stand before one of these majestic natural wonders. Located just past the Blue Ridge Parkway near Cherokee, Soco Falls might just be of the most beautiful waterfalls in North Carolina, and that’s saying something. Let’s check it out.
Soco Falls is located just on the outskirts of the Cherokee Indian Reservation, between Maggie Valley and Cherokee, North Carolina.
You can park along US Highway 19 and then take a short hike to see the falls. The hike is steep, but fairly short and pretty easy as far as North Carolina hikes are concerned.
