11 Things We Really Hope Santa Brings North Carolina For Christmas
He’s makin’ a list, he’s checkin’ it twice, he’s gonna find out North Carolina is actually super nice! Yeah, Santa Claus is coming to town TOMORROW (well technically, tonight) and he’ll be bringing lots of goodies and Christmas cheer to all the land. But there’s some certain things us as North Carolinians hope he brings to our state. Like eleven…

If Spring could actually happen the beginning of March...that would be great.

That gets us out of work/school/responsibilities for a day or two. We have to have at least one!

Pretty please?

Last year Duke won, but whichever NC team of your choice. Also, can we all just take a moment to look at Coach K's face in that picture...

North Carolina has some of the best food in the nation, of course, Cookout reigns supreme for quick burgers from a window. But hey, an addition of another delicious juicy burger couldn't hurt either.

Ghost Town in the Sky is said to re-open in 2016 with a whole new concept. But I also can't help but wonder with all the press Land of Oz has also received...if they don't make a comeback as well.

So that when you take your beach vacation you'll never have a rainy day! The seafood, the views, the sandy shores and beautiful water...ok, I'm already dreaming of mine!

Lets not have a repeat of last summer ok, Jaws? I'd like to enjoy a dip without fearing for my life or limbs.

Of course the Blue Ridge and Smokies are beautiful during fall...but they're also amazing during the spring. Between the Rhododendron blooms, fresh leaves on the trees, and a whole new world to explore. I can't wait to take plenty of hikes come April!

Wouldn't that be nice...

North Carolina is home, and while these things would be nice, I'm just thankful to wake up in the morning and see a sight like this!
