You Can Camp Overnight At This Remote Winery In North Carolina
Heading in the direction of Sunset Beach, Holden Beach, or Ocean Isle this year? No? Let us give you a reason to make the trip: a remote winery in North Carolina where you can bring the camper or RV and spend the night (or longer!).
Welcome to Grapefull Sisters Vineyard and Carrollwood RV Park, sister companies located adjacent to one another right in the middle of North Carolina's legendary tobacco country in Columbus County.
Located on a 250-acre former tobacco farm, Grapefull Sisters opened in 2004 and has taken the southern North Carolina coast by the heart strings (and taste buds) with its varietals and the charm of the winery itself.
Set back from the highway just far enough to make your mouth water for the wine, the winery and campground together make for a perfect getaway - especially if you love camping as much as you love wine!
Carrollwoods RV Park has a number of amenities and is ideal for hunkering down for the night or a weekend of wine tastings. (Note: wine tastings are held Monday through Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
What goes together better than camping and wine? Make plans to head to this remote winery in North Carolina this year and check it out. Grapefull Sisters Vineyard is open year-round and so is Carrollwoods RV Park.
While you’re this close to the coast, you can also go check out the underrated sandy beach found on Bird Island, North Carolina.
Address: Carrollwoods RV Campground & Vineyard, 95 Dot Ln, Tabor City, NC 28463, USA
