The North Pole Train Ride In North Carolina That Will Take You On An Unforgettable Adventure
Christmas is just around the corner and with that comes years of tradition for celebrating. One such tradition we all know and love is reading the Polar Express on Christmas Eve. As a child I remember being completely caught up in the fantasy, almost believing the train would arrive at my doorstep and I’d hop on to go to the North Pole. While that was never a possibility, one such way to create that magic for the little ones is taking them on the North Pole Train Ride offered through North Carolina Transportation Museum.
The Polar Express Train Ride hosted by N.C. Transportation Museum takes you "all aboard" for a magical journey.
Inspired by the book and movie, The Polar Express Train Ride recreates the magic of journeying to Santa's land full of presents, hot chocolate, and bells for all to hear.
Both young and old await in suspense for the Polar Express to arrive and take them to the North Pole.
Once on board, all the magic is recreated. From hot cocoa, carols, singing, dancing and reading of the original Polar Express.
The awesome, interactive journey is just like the real thing. Little ones will be convinced they've hopped on board to the farthest northern region in search of Santa.
Once the kiddos reach the North Pole, Santa will bestow the first gift of Christmas. On the return trip, each child is gifted a silver bell. In the spirit of the book, both parents and kiddos are encouraged to wear their pajamas on the journey. Tickets start at $36/adult and $30/child with different seating options available. You'll find the N.C. Transportation Museum just outside of Salisbury in Spencer, North Carolina.
