Most of the time, North Carolina is an amazing state. Beautiful scenery, always something to do, and southern charm. Yet you can’t have it all, and living in the Tar Heel state does come with some struggles from time to time. Like these 10…
1. Constant highway construction. Once something is finished, a new project begins.
2. When the Krispy Kreme hot light is not on.
3. When the beach is overcrowded in the summer. Not a spot to lay your towel.
4. When your city or town starts to lose charm because of overdevelopment.
5. All the crazy weather changes. This meme is too true!
6. When our one epic snowstorm shuts everything down. It's fun at first but by day three we're ready to get out of the house!
7. Visiting all the amazing NC craft breweries, and craving those certain beers when you're back in your city or town.
8. The constant love-hate relationship with NC sports and our teams. One thing is true, though: we always support our team no matter what.
9. Humidity in the summer. Ladies know this one...it ruins our hair!
10. Sometimes wanting to leave, or leaving, and knowing nothing will ever compare to home.
