North Carolina has no shortage of stunning scenery and natural wonders. These 15 sites will remind you why we will always call this place ‘home.’
1. The breathtaking and ancient Looking Glass Rock. Composed of Whiteside Granite formed 390 million years ago.
2. The tallest active sand dune on the east coast, Jockey's Ridge.
3. The stunning Linville Gorge, a view that alway manages to take your breath away.
4. Reaching new heights at Grandfather Mountain.
5. The Pamlico Sound on one side and the Atlantic on the other along the Outer Banks Scenic Byway.
