Most People Have No Idea This Amazing Farm Park In North Carolina Even Exists
There are plenty of amusement parks that are a great for a day of fun and adventure, but sometimes we’re looking for something a bit different. Hubb’s Farm is more than just a corn maze, or a pumpkin patch, or an agricultural center – but a self-proclaimed ‘agri-tourism’ theme park taking a day of ‘fun on the farm’ to a whole new level.

2017 is now the 10th year Hubb's has been open. When you first arrive it's easy to tell Hubb's isn't your average farm. What originally started as a legendary corn maze grew each year with new attractions added.

Hubb's is filled with so many activities it can almost be overwhelming for a first-time visitor. Add that to a multitude of seasonal events like Polar Express, Santa, Too! and Valentine's at the Farm. While much of the theme park is only opened mid-September through mid-September the various seasonal events let you explore the farm in the offseason.

It can be a little hard to decide where to start when first visiting. Main attractions include the corn maze, mini-ziplines and barrel slides. But there are so many more intricacies and fun things to see and do on the farm.

This year, the new 'playdirt Pete Treasure Mine' was introduced as an attraction to the park. There's also a wealth of activities like tractor drawn hayrides through the farm and to the pumpkin patch. Don't forget about the 'First in Flight' mini-zipline that lasts a total of 12 seconds, the same duration of the Wright brothers' first flight. Due to the size of the ride, it's restricted to little ones only.

Aside from the giant mazes Hubbs' is known for, there's also human foosball, giant checkers, an entire 'house of corn' where kids can jump and play in the enclosed structure filled with corn, outdoor laser tag, the giant 'double barrel slide' and barrel train, corn hole (to entertain adults while the kids have fun), mini bale maze for the little ones, giant jump pillow, giant sandbox, a 'rope mountain' formed from a giant patch of dirt (with ropes for lifting yourself to the top)...oh, and just when you thought there couldn't possibly be more, there are adorable farm animals you can pet and meet.

Hubb's might seem unbelievably overwhelming on the surface but once here it's not so hard to navigate. Fall is the perfect time to visit; cooler temperatures ensure you can spend time comfortably roaming around the farm while the little ones explore the various interactive activities available. Sure, there are no giant roller coasters or ferris wheels...but sometimes finding fun in the simplicity is the best fun of all.
How cool is this? Geared more towards the little ones – this seems like such a memorable place to go! Have you visited Hubbs before?
