Prepare to step back into the heart of the 1960s as you channel your best rendition of hippie culture at the upcoming Hippe Fest set to take place only a few short weeks from now in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Dig deep into your closet and pull out your best hippie attire (or just come as you are) to take part in an epic two-day family-oriented festival celebrating all of the fun and whimsical things about this iconic generation.
On May 11 and 12, 2019, the Rowan County Fairgrounds in Salisbury will transform into a whirls of color, filled with fun, family activities including cirque performers dressed in hippie attire, a giant bubble garden, a hippie tiki bar, live entertainment, and more.
More than 150 vendors will be on hand selling all things, including tie-dyed clothing! (There will also be demonstrations on how to tie-dye your own items at home!)
The 2-day Hippie Fest takes place May 11-12, 2019 at the Rowan County Fairground in Salisbury, NC. The address is 1560 Julian Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146. Gates are open from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. both days. Tickets must be purchased online in advance and are $10 for a single-day pass and $15 for a two-day pass.
