Adventure Through An Enchanted Wonderland Of Lights And Activities At Hill Ridge Farms In North Carolina
Looking for new and exciting ways to make your holidays this year especially merry and bright? Then head to the Piedmont to the tiny town of Youngsville (population: 1,300). It’s here that you’ll find a magical farm that has all the feels of an enchanted wonderland, including millions of dazzling lights, hot cocoa, an indoor restaurant, and a holiday lights hayride that’s sure to be a highlight of the evening.
All year long, Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville entertains guests on their farm that's evolved into a visitor-focused business over the last 51 years. If you've yet to discover the goodness found at Hill Ridge Farms, then there's no time quite like Christmas to make the trek.
Your admission ticket includes a holiday hayride to see even more lights. Several wagons are utilized nightly so that the lines keep moving at a regular pace. Bundle up and snuggle up close as you're dazzled by the many displays.
All this holiday cheer may help you work up an appetite. That's no problem, though, because there's a restaurant next to the Country Store, where you can also purchase gifts and...
...baked goods! Over in the grill you'll find burgers, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, and more. So you can plan to have dinner on the farm and then grab a dozen holiday donuts to go!
One tip before you go, they only take Visa, Mastercard, and cash and there's no ATM on the property. Also, if you bring cash, you'll get through the ticket line MUCH FASTER because there's a cash-only window.
The Festival of Lights takes place nightly at Hill Ridge Farms from November 28, 2019 through December 29, 2019. The gates open every night at 5 p.m. Closing times vary by day of week and the admission cost varies by age and day of the week. See this link for more on both.
