Sometimes, a restaurant is merely a place to refuel. Other times, however, a restaurant is a destination where the location and decor are as much of a reason to go as it is to satisfy your hunger. Such is the case at this roadside attraction/restaurant in North Carolina. You may initially pull over for the all of the iconic and eclectic decor found outside of (and on top of) the building but, once inside, you’ll stay for the kitschy decor, friendly service, and affordably priced, amazing food.

It's located a mere mile from Interstate 26, making it an ideal place to pull off on any trip for a bite to eat and some honest-to-goodness gawking at everything under the sun that can be found inside the establishment. (For the record, we love Harry's and make it a point to stop anytime we're in the area!)
Once you've wandered around outside admiring the roadside attractions Harry's and Piggy's has amassed over the last 40 years, head inside for another experience altogether.

You'll find the register right under the giant Mt. Olive Pickle. Be sure to bring cash, as it's cash only here. (If you forget, then there's an ATM inside Harry's.)
Before you place your order, be sure to search for the menu board on the wall.

The board has daily specials that pair the signature sandwiches with fries and other sides for even better prices. Although, Harry's prices are already super affordable! The soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and BBQ are not only reasonably priced, but also delicious.
Now comes the hard part: deciding where to sit.
