The Unique Park Everyone In North Carolina Should Visit At Least Once
Just this past August, a unique urban park came to Greensboro: Carolyn and Maurice LeBauer Park, a privately funded park in the heart of downtown. LeBauer offers aerial displayed art and green space with pops of color and an abstract fountain.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

The 3.5 acres includes a garden, to reflect LeBauer's lifelong passion for horticulture, a play area, putting green, interactive fountain, dog park, a lawn that can fit up to 2,000 people, and a performance pavilion.

The park is home to several modern displays of art that also serve a functional purpose. Events are hosted in the park, like dance classes for all ages.

It's a great place for kids of all ages, between the children's center with slides, climbing ropes, and plenty of places to play, sit, or enjoy all of the park. With a mix of urban and artsy scenery, it's great for parents, too.

Day or night, this unique urban park in Greensboro is truly one of a kind. The interactive fountains put on a unique light show and are perfect for a bit of a cool down on a summer night. Even if you're wanting a break from work or the mix of urban and green space, it's perfect for a day trip!

LeBauer Park is the perfect place for a unique day trip in the Piedmont and even if you’re just passing through! Have you visited here before?
