French Broad Chocolates, a farm-to-factory and bean-to-bar chocolate maker, offers 30-minute tours twice a day – every day. For that person you know who is a freak when it comes to chocolate, this is the tour to take. Here’s what you should know:
The new French Broad Chocolate Factory and Cafe on Riverside Drive is open seven days week. The hours are Sunday – Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday/Saturday from 11 a.m. – midnight. Thirty-minute tours (cost: $6) are offered twice daily (2 p.m. and 4 p.m.) and 60-minute tours (cost: $12) are offered on Saturday only. Both 30 and 60-minute guided tours must be scheduled in advance on the website at this link. If you want to take a 15-minute walkthrough (cost: $3) at 1 p.m or 6 p.m. (daily), those don’t have to be scheduled in advance.
