People Are Going Crazy Over The Handmade Donuts At This Small North Carolina Shop

Britt’s Donut Shop in North Carolina has locals going crazy for the homemade glazed donuts made right there on the boardwalk of Carolina Beach. You’ll wait in line too at this 84-year-old iconic, cash-only establishment. And it’s not just the locals who know about this place as it has graced the pages of such national publications as National Geographic Traveler, Food & Wine Magazine, and MSN City Guides as the second-best doughnut in the nation. One might argue that Britt’s is why people visit Carolina Beach: you be the judge. 

Britt’s was originally located on the opposite side of the boardwalk, and it was moved in 1969 to its current location.

Britt's is open seasonally usually closing sometime around late September and reopening in April this year.
