Not everyone believes in ghosts, but there is no denying some houses or buildings just give you the downright creeps. Maybe it’s the feeling you get when passing through, or just a decayed sense of history gone astray. Some of these might be familiar, while some are just seen in passing. Yet, these fifteen houses seem to hold some mystery and some haunts.
The Biltmore Estate is known to be haunted by former owners, George and Edith Vanderbilt. Strange occurrences have been reported throughout the estate but most notably in the library and pool room.
The photographer of this picture says her father rented out the farm house for a few years. It's located behind a veterinary clinic where he practiced. They always felt strange when entering the house and reported weird occurrences happened from time to time.

There are few details on this abandoned house outside of Asheville. The photographer did a great job of setting the haunted mood.
