If You’d Never Consider Sleeping In A School Bus In The Forest In North Carolina, You’ll Think Again After Seeing This One
We’ve encountered some incredibly unique rentals in North Carolina on sites like Airbnb.com recently. And we have to admit, the most refined hippie bus we’ve ever seen is a welcome surprise. Prepare to take a little drive over to the outskirts of Weaverville for an overnight (or more!) in a converted old school bus that’s actually quite nice.
Simply called the Romantic Bus in the Forest, the bus is painted an inviting Robin's egg blue and, from the exterior, appears to have no other modifications — other then the color change. It's as if someone simply backed it into the forest and turned if off.
Once inside, guests are greeted with a plush full-size bed, complete with antique bed frame and sheets that pair perfectly with the light blue accents.
The wooden plank flooring and patterned wool rug give the interior that fine, yet rustic, finished tone. And a wooden table brings it all together and offers additional seating for up to two overnight guests.
An overnight stay in the Romantic Bus in the Forest comes complete with the essentials: bed sheets, towels, shampoo, a stand fan for summer nights, and...
The nicest outhouse you'll ever have the privilege to utilize.
The bus is located in a pine forest near Weaverville, about 20 minutes north of Asheville. Of course prices are always subject to change, but current rates start at $65/night, plus a small cleaning fee and taxes. Learn more and book your stay in the Romantic Bus in the Forest at this Airbnb link!
