Get Ready For The Sale Of The Year With The 100-Mile Yard Sale In North Carolina
Among the many things the last year has taught us is to stop procrastinating and start doing. All too often, we find reasons to put off doing something we’d really like to do, only to miss an opportunity. Don’t pass up the chance to partake in a 100-mile yard sale passing into North Carolina this summer. Known as the Take a Break from the Interstate Road Market, this 100-mile yard sale is back bigger than ever this year after being cancelled due to COVID in 2020. Here’s what you need to know:
The three-day sale begins Friday, July 23rd and extends until Sunday July 25th. Set a calendar reminder now so you don't miss it!
Skip the interstate and travel along two-lane roads and through quaint towns as you explore booth after booth along the way between Wytheville, Virginia and Harmony, North Carolina along US-21.
You'll not only pass by scores of opportunities to shop from roadside vendors, but will also pass by eight national and state parks, over the legendary New River, cross over the Blue Ridge Parkway, and more... all while weaving through long-range views of the beautiful North Carolina rolling landscape.
Hundreds of yard sale vendors will be set up along the route, with countless opportunities to strike a deal on some gently used merchandise; stuff you just can't live without, no doubt.
Since you'll also be passing through small towns (like Elkin, Jonesville, and Harmony), you'll get to eat some delicious home-cooking at local restaurants.
You can learn more about the Take a Break from the Interstate 100-mile yard sale taking place July 23-25, 2021 in North Carolina this year from the event’s official website, or by following the event’s Facebook page.
