Editor’s Note: The Adirondack Equine Center is permanently closed.
Forever subjected to cold weather and mass amounts of snow, New York has learned how to survive through the winters over the years. Your mind may instinctively go to seasonal activities like sledding and skiing, there’s one unique adventure you may not have thought to take this winter. Prepare yourselves, you’re going to want to take this magical winter horseback ride through the Adirondacks.
Up in the Adirondack Park surrounded by our tallest mountains and most charming small towns, there's an equine center that can make all of your dreams come true.
Located within the small hamlet of Lake Clear not too far from Lake Placid, the ranch offers horse drawn sleigh rides and one-of-a-kind winter horseback rides.
Something to keep in mind? The Adirondack Equine Center does not take same-day reservations. All adventures must be made in advance. To book your reservation and to see their online discounts, you can click here for all the information you'll need.
How to get here: 776 County Route 18 Lake Clear, NY 12945
