There's nothing quite like New York's beaches that fall along the shores of Lake Ontario. Located in Rochester, this Monroe County gem is amazing to visit during anytime of the year but we're partial to the summer season when you can take full advantage of the beach! The park has 5,000 feet of stunning waterfront views and is open from 7AM to 11PM.
Up north and close to the Vermont border is where you'll find this beautiful beach in Plattsburgh. A great place to bring the family, this perfect spot to cool off in Lake Champlain is a favorite place for visitors to enjoy a weekend camping trip or just a day where you have a picnic at the park!
Giving you spectacular views of the Long Island Sound, almost all of our residents have spent at least one vacation here while growing up in New York! White, sandy beaches and beautiful bluffs will surround you as you enjoy a picture-perfect day by the water in the small town of Wading River. Another plus to this state park? It's a fantastic place to go camping!
Located on the shores of Lake Erie in Irving, this natural sand beach is wonderful to visit during our warmer months. This particular park is often overlooked, making it a true gem to those who find it and spend the day here.
You may have heard of this state park because of its well known and unique outdoor beach theater, but it's the 6 miles of insanely beautiful shoreline that will win your heart over!
Located in, you guessed it, Jamesville, this incredible park has so much to offer. With more than just 100-yards of life-guarded waterfront, this park will also be the host of the Jamesville Balloon Festival which is being held on June 24th through the 26th! A one-day getaway destination for many of our Upstate residents, this beach located in Gansevoort is set right in the woods! If you're not ready to take a dip into the water during your visit, you can always enjoy a fun paddleboat ride, something every visitor should try while they're here.
All of our residents know that when it comes to beautiful beaches, Long Island is perfect place to be, especially the area of Montauk. Well-known for its iconic lighthouse, this beach is a favorite spot for visitors to go surfing!
Another one of our beaches that falls right near a border, this Grand Island state park is a must-see if you're out near Buffalo. A half-mile of sandy beach awaits you at this very well park. So, what're you waiting for?
Found down in New York City, this popular beach has millions of visitors every year but there's many of our residents who don't know about this place! A perfect solution to avoiding the always crowded Coney Island, the Boardwalk at Rockaway Beach will take your breath away.
