It seems as though us New Yorkers went from feeling like winter and the holiday season was still ages away, only now to feel like we have so much to do and experience before 2019 arrives. Every town around New York has some sort of holiday decorations hanging up for all to see, but there’s one destination in the Empire State that twinkles a bit more brightly than all the rest – check it out.
Twinkling bright for everyone to see all throughout the year, White Plains turns into quite the festive town during the holidays.
Put together by just a couple of neighbors who enjoy creating something for other New Yorkers to experience, you'll feel like you're staring at a group of real-life gingerbread houses when you come over to White Plains' North Kensico Avenue.
Visitors are also encouraged to step out of their cars and walk around, with a small motion-activated speaker located in the mailbox so that you can still hear the music.
This year one of the many reasons to get out of your car is to go and take your picture with Santa who's waiting for you in the backyards of North Kensico Avenue.
Up and on display from now until January 2nd at 21 North Kensico Avenue in White Plains, experience why this area has become known as our state's most twinkly town.
Running from now through January 2nd, the North Kensico Avenue Christmas Light Show is on display each day of the week from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. To find out more about the light show, click here.
