14 Things People Miss Most About New York When They Leave
We’re not denying it, there may come a day when you find yourself having the desire to move out of state. While your decision to leave us may have us experiencing severe heartache, we will absolutely be there to remind you of all that you’ll be missing. Check out these 14 things people miss the most about New York when they leave:

From the big city to our wide, mountain-filled ranges, there are so many breathtaking views all around New York! How could you not miss this place?

Covering all corners of our state, snow is a close friend to any New Yorker. While most of us find ourselves in a love/hate relationship with this particular form of precipitation, many of us sit on the edge of our seats for its arrival!

If it wasn't already bad enough that we're no longer a reasonable distance away from being able to see our teams play in person, to throw an extra cherry on top, now we may not even be able to watch them on our T.V.s? Depending on how far you've gone, you may have to cough up a little extra to your cable provider so you can have the pleasure of watching your favorite teams in your new home.

While people may be inclined to speak about the Big Apple, you can't forget about all the incredible small towns hidden inside New York.

Historical and diverse, the residents of New York are always looking to learn more about it and celebrate its greatness. No matter how long we've lived here, with so much history to offer, we always find ourselves coming back for more!

Whether we're taking the scenic route home from work or just simply enjoying the view, all residents of New York love our long back roads.

From beer to soda and of course milk, we always find ourselves thankful for what we're able to put inside our fridges when we're still living home!

We love our state parks and the beauty that they radiate all year long! We may even boast about how we have the largest state park in the United States...but hey, who's keeping track?

We'll never lie to you, we're quite the funky bunch! When we travel outside our home state we're quickly reminded that there's just something about New York that makes us all so unique!

From pizza to bagels and tasty salt potatoes, you'll find yourself reaching for the nearest napkin to clean up your drool! When you're brought up on all these delightful foods, eating anything else feels like nothing but heartbreak.

This one doesn't just apply to our fast paced friends Downstate, you'll find all New Yorkers praising sidewalks!

It's true, we're always looking for spare time to run up into the mountains, or even just admire them nearby. Ask the next friendly face you find on top of a New York mountain, and more likely than not they'll tell you this isn't their first time up there! We love revisiting our favorite mountains and miss them terribly when we're gone.

Drinking, swimming, fishing, boating, playing... you name it! All throughout New York we are admiring the water around us and finding an excuse to be near and in it!

Near and dear to our hearts, there will simply never be anything quite like our hometowns. No matter where we go, we will always find ourselves comparing everything new we see to that of our hometown.
