Being a New Yorker means something different to all of our residents. But when it comes to remembering our favorite reasons for living here and the things that we simply adore? No matter which region of our state you visit, you'll find a ton of historic sites and attractions that will completely fascinate you. From our Olympic Ski Jumps to the historic mansions of the Hudson Valley, there's so much history worth diving into in the Empire State.
For many of our residents, a main reason why they love living in New York is because you get to experience all four seasons. New Yorkers get to enjoy warm summer days and beautiful winter wonderlands each and every year when they call the Northeast their home!

Anyone familiar with New York knows that our residents have a serious love affair with Wegmans, the best and only grocery store worth visiting if you ask us!
Other states may be a bit more famous for their maple syrup, but here in New York we enjoy maple in just about everything.

All over New York you'll find our residents getting excited over St. Patrick's Day, but this holiday takes on a whole new meaning specifically out in Central New York. All around places like Syracuse you'll find the streets painted green and even our famous Byrne Dairy turning their milk green for the holiday season!
Our residents love being by the water in general, but we really love camping out underneath the stars right by one of our beautiful shores. From the beaches of Long Island to the shores of Lake Ontario, you'll find a variety of dreamy locations that are perfect for setting up camp.

Well, one of the many reasons why we enjoy spending time in this region of New York is because it's flooded in great-tasting wine. While this isn't the only region in our state where you can find delicious wine, it certainly is our favorite place to visit.
