Other states may be a bit more famous for their maple syrup, but here in New York we enjoy maple in just about everything.

All over New York you'll find our residents getting excited over St. Patrick's Day, but this holiday takes on a whole new meaning specifically out in Central New York. All around places like Syracuse you'll find the streets painted green and even our famous Byrne Dairy turning their milk green for the holiday season!

Our residents love being by the water in general, but we really love camping out underneath the stars right by one of our beautiful shores. From the beaches of Long Island to the shores of Lake Ontario, you'll find a variety of dreamy locations that are perfect for setting up camp.

What the Finger Lakes lacks in mountainous regions they make up for with their enchanting bodies of water. All we ask is that you don't try and to make us pick just one of our favorite eleven lakes!

Nearly everywhere you turn in the Empire State you can find a jaw-dropping waterfall that will bring out the explorer in you. With so many waterfalls all around us, we grow up loving these majestic streams.

Remember just a moment ago when we were swooning over the Finger Lakes? Well, one of the many reasons why we enjoy spending time in this region of New York is because it's flooded in great-tasting wine. While this isn't the only region in our state where you can find delicious wine, it certainly is our favorite place to visit.

What better item to pair up with amazing wine than flavorful cheese? New Yorkers even love this dairy treat so much that we have our own Cheese Trail that will leave your taste buds forever thanking you.
