The Epic Outdoor Food Fest In New York You Simply Cannot Miss
One of our favorite ways to tell that summer has finally arrived, the season for outdoor festivals is finally upon us. Combining some of our most popular interests, Central New York is actually home to one of the largest and fastest growing food and music festivals in our state. So, who’s ready to kick of the month of June with a bang that your tastebuds will never forget?
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

So what exactly are these themed days for Taste of Syracuse? Friday June 2nd will be I Love Orange Day, where visitors of the festival are encouraged to wear their orange gear in support of the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation. The second day, Saturday June 3rd, will be the festival's Pink Power Day. Saturday visitors will be encouraged to show their support for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund by wearing pink to the event.
Something else you'll want to know about the second day of the festival? The first 500 people who make a $5 dollar donation to the Research Fund will be given a special pink wristband. Those who are lucky enough to snag a pink wristband will be able to take advantage of vendors that will give you two different food samples for only one dollar. A great way to cure your hunger all while helping out a good cause. For both days of the festival you'll also find many of the vendors offering different sales and specials that will help raise money for the charities.
