The Historic New York Mountain Maze You’ll Want To Explore Before Summer’s Over
If you’re used to associating corn mazes with the fall, we don’t blame you. But we New Yorkers are here to let you in on a little secret, one of the most marvelous corn mazes can actually be explored during the summer. Gasp! Taking you up north and out near the beautiful Lake Champlain, see why your summer won’t be complete until you explore the famous Heroic Corn Maze.
Right along the water in one of our
small towns, Fort Ticonderoga is a historic adventure waiting to be taken.
Known for being the most historic landscape in America, Fort Ticonderoga is more than just a piece of history.
From strolling through King's Garden and taking a 1-mile hike up Mount Defiance to getting out on the water with their boat tours, there's so much to see and explore here.
But as of August 11th, there will be one more piece of Fort Ticonderoga to explore — the Heroic Maze: A Corn Maze Adventure!
Creating a new and exciting maze each year, the Heroic Maze will be open every day from August 11th through the 26th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A family-friendly excursion, you'll also find a Kiddie Maze available that has no dead ends (only turns and twists) and is perfect for the littlest of visitors.
A life-size puzzle you'll have to navigate through, this epic maze is even divided into two phases so that you can create your own adventure!
Have you ever taken a more fun adventure out along Lake Champlain? While you're exploring the Heroic Maze, you'll come across 8 stations that are hidden inside. A quest worth taking, while exploring the maze you'll have a Quest Card that you'll use to collect stamps from each station in the maze, sending you on a hunt to find hidden objects. Another great thing about the maze? While it's designed to give you a fun challenge, there are also ways to quickly exit the maze if you find yourself in over your heads at any point.
