Within The Shoppes is The Apple Kitchen. Open on weekends, it's a small restaurant serving lunch items and tasty desserts. They even carry wine and beer (locally-made, of course).

But there's so much more to The Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed than soup, sandwiches, and cookies (even if they are delicious). It's also a craft market.

Nearly 60 local vendors sell their artwork and homemade goods, ranging from birdhouses to cutting boards to paintings.

After you're done perusing the goods for sale, walk outside. The area surrounding the Shoppes is beautiful. The grass is maintained and there's even a one-mile trail to enjoy. You'll get a great view of the pond and nearby valleys.
