When it comes to foodie towns in New York State, most people’s minds often go to the Big Apple. After all, there’s a reason it’s one of the most visited cities in the world. But if you think that’s the only place in the Empire State with a cornucopia of delicious restaurants to check out, you’re wrong. At a population of around 65,000 people, Schnectady is nowhere near the metropolis that is NYC. However, the city still boasts a diverse array of some of the best restaurants in New York. Tara Kitchen is one of our favorite ethnic restaurants in New York. This delightful spot offers Moroccan comfort food. It's exotic without being too overwhelmingly different, and (most importantly), it's delicious!
