Shawangunk Mountains Scenic Byway is one of the most beautiful roads in New York, stretching 88 miles and surrounding the Shawangunk Mountains, as well as linking together several towns and villages in the area. It’s one of the best spots to travel to for an adventurous drive, especially in the fall.

The route was officially designated a New York State Scenic Byway in 2006.
