Right along the roadside in the small town of Bemus Point, Midway State Park is the perfect place for your entire family to enjoy.
To those who have never visited this park, you may be quick to assume it's just another wonderful family-friendly attraction here in New York but there's so much history behind this place!
Inside Midway State Park's gift shop, you'll be able to check out a small museum that showcases pieces of the park's past.
Established all the way back in 1898, what once began as a trolley park has now turned into something even more charming.
While you won't find trolley's running through Midway State Park anymore, you can hop aboard a miniature train that takes you around the park!
As one of the oldest continually operating amusement parks in the entire country, you'll be able to find all your favorite rides here.
The youngest of visitors will be able to check out an array of rides that are catered just to them, with helicopter rides as well as exciting little boat rides.
The chance to experience history continues as you eventually spot the large roofed carousel.
Made right in North Tonawanda, New York at the Herschell Carousel Factory, this particular carousel is full of charm.
A wonderful place to visit on a warm day, Midway State Park has everything from arcade games galore to miniature rollercoasters that will have you throwing your arms up in the air with excitement.
