Like many of you, we here at Only In New York are animal lovers. Furry, scaly, feathered, flippered: we love them all. We adore cat cafes and farm animal rescues. But sometimes, you get the urge to interact with an animal that’s a little more uncommon. If you’re looking for fun and exotic animal encounters in New York, it doesn’t get much more adorable than playing with the seals at the Aquarium of Niagara. This underrated aquarium doesn’t get as much love as some of the larger zoos and aquariums in New York, but it’s a great place to encounter fish and marine mammals. For an extra-special experience, you can purchase a special pass to interact with the animals! We recommend the seal pass because they’re just so darn cute.
