Hidden away underneath the New York Transit Museum, City Hall Station is a train station that's been closed since 1945.
Not many people realize that this historic station lives below the streets of New York, earning the title of being the first subway station in the city when it opened in 1904.
As magnificent as this glamorous train station was though, it quickly ended up being one of the least used platforms in all of New York and was closed down in 1945.
Today people can only get a look at the station if they're riding on the 6 train that passes by it, but during a couple times throughout the year something special happens.
