The Christmas Village In New York That Becomes Even More Magical Year After Year
Out in Western New York not far from the shores of Lake Erie, there’s a town that brings Christmas cheer to the area each and every year. Giving you a variety of holiday activities all packed into one location, Hamburg is where you’ll want to head if you’re interested in getting into the holiday spirit. From holiday decorations to meeting the big man of the North Pole himself, let’s find out why this little Christmas village is so magical to experience.
Right in Erie County, Hamburg hosts the annual Festival of Lights at the local Fairgrounds.
You'll find North Pole displays like an elf village, the Arctic, a toy shop you can explore and other buildings you might think to find up here where it's cold.
The festival also features a drive through light display, made up of over one million LED lights that begins on the Avenue of Flags and takes you throughout the Fairgrounds.
Other notable attractions at the Festival of Lights? The Frosty's 3D Adventure where visitors get to explore a 3,000 square foot room located inside of the Event Center. There will also be popular shows like their holiday magic shows and a train ride that'll take you around the grounds!
