In easiest terms, the upper and lower levels of the lakes do not mix. Both lakes are nearly 200-feet deep, making it seriously incredible that you can see so far down into the water.
Even though these lakes are so rare and visually attractive, many of our residents and visitors don't realize this hidden gem is hiding right in plain sight.
