Ausable Chasm, NY 12911, USA
The "Little Grand Canyon of the East" is one of the most amazing attractions in New York. There are some wonderful paid tours you can take that involve hiking or rafting. But this is a natural wonder you can see for free, at least from one viewpoint. The view from the bridge is one of the best you can get. If you park your car on one side and walk back across the bridge, make sure to bring your camera!

This 215-foot behemoth is taller than even Niagara Falls! You do have to pay a small entrance fee to get into the state park that contains the falls. If you don't feel like hiking or are short on cash, the overlook just outside the park's entrance provides a great (and free!) view.

The Stone Church, Dover, NY 12522, USA
This stunning cave is just a short hike from the road. It's hidden between two driveways, so it's an easy spot to miss that even many locals are unaware of. This is such a beautiful area.

There's a reason this is the most famous park in the world. At 843 acres smack dab in the middle of NYC, this is an incredible spot for people watching. There are so many beautiful attractions inside the park that are worth checking out, like Strawberry Fields and the Central Park Zoo. It's also the most filmed location in the world.
