One of the few things that many people can all agree on is that when all of us were young we wished that we had our own treehouse to play in. Sure it was always amazing to have any type of playground in your backyard, but there’s something about being up in a treehouse that takes you to another world. All across the country you can find extravagant treehouses that you can stay the night in or visit, but this one particular community of treehouses out in Geneseo, New York will make you feel like a kid again!
All thanks to an incredible New York resident by the name of Joe Forrero and his family, Tree Creations in Geneseo gives you the opportunity to enjoy an assortment of treehouses in one location.
Just 30 miles south of Rochester out past all of our beautiful Finger Lakes, you can find the town of Geneseo in Western New York. It's here in this small town that you'll discover Tree Creations, a private residence that opens its home to visitors for free.
Joe Forrero initially began creating the treehouses for his own children, only to realize what an amazing gift he could create and give back to his community. Pictured above you can also see the walkway leading up to the treehouses, referred to as the Yellow Brick Road.

One of the first things that may catch your eye is the vintage car on one end of the treehouse village.
A man with many talents, after being inspired by a visit to museum on Long Island, Joe Forrero took a vintage car that he had in his possession and put it up amongst the trees. How many times can you say you've ever seen a sight like this?
The next thing that will most likely catch your eye is the Tea Room.
Located on their website under The Complex tab, you can see an image of what the Forrero family hopes to make of Tree Creations in the future. One of the things Joe has planned is to install an elevator so that everyone will be able to enjoy this creation.
Outside of the Margrose Castle, you can see the bridge pictured above that you'll have to cross! Just one of the many charming characteristics of this place.

One of the ways that Tree Creations has been able to grow in size is by receiving treehouses from another New York resident.
Another resident by the name of Maurice Barkley from another New York town just north of Geneseo was also known for creating his own village of treehouses. After reaching a certain age, Maurice thought that some of his treehouses would be better cared for and enjoyed at Tree Creations, now a part of this small town destination that puts a smile on so many faces.
You'll never know what you'll find inside each of the treehouses here!
Pictured above you can see The Wizard's Den, a funky little treehouse that will bring out your curiosity. From each direction off of the main village deck you'll be able to find a different themed treehouse that will fascinate you.
