If you want to combine them all into one very fun day in Buffalo, you absolutely must swing by Resurgence Brewing Company on Chicago Street near River Fest Park and Conway Park. This brewery opened back in 2014 and its name is a nod to the fact that the Nickel City is really making a comeback in recent years. You can celebrate that fact with a beer and a burger, and you can bring your dog along with you to celebrate too. Read on to learn more about this fine establishment.
Resurgence Brewing Company began on Niagara Street but it quickly outgrew that space. Soon, the owners bought property on Chicago Street and expanded their business into a mid-19th century building that once housed the E. & B. Holmes Machinery Company.
Today, they serve more than 20 beers on tap. A variety of different beers are offered including numerous IPAs, saisons, stouts, porters, sour beers, pilsners, flavored beers, and more.
Many of the beers currently on tap have clever names like Smells Like Buffalo, Gnome Buddy Sits With Me, Threat Level Midnight, and I'm Running Away From My Responsibilities And It Feels Good.

Resurgence Brewing Company brews all its own beers. Inside, you'll find a 15 BBL brewing system that can produce 3,000 barrels per year.
Lots of Buffalonians bring their dogs to Resurgence, so your dog will have the opportunity to make some new friends - and you might even get to pet some of them.
When you get hungry, you might order one of Resurgence Brewing Company's tasty burgers. There are three different burgers from which to choose, but you can customize them however you like.
If you're not feeling like a burger, Resurgence has a variety of other foods as well. (It wouldn't be a restaurant in Buffalo if they didn't have buffalo wings! You can customize these, too.)
