The Adirondack Experience, a museum located on Blue Mountain Lake, is currently closed, but Blue Mountain Lake is certainly still worth the trip for hiking and lake activities alone. Plus, it’s only about a two-hour drive from Albany. For this one, you’ll want your hiking shoes and your swimsuit, too.
