It isn’t often that out-of-towners visit Buffalo without two things in mind: wings and snow. And while we can offer both (depending on the season, of course), it’s time to show outsiders a different side of the 716. The next time you are welcoming guests for a visit, take them to these 9 underrated places in Buffalo for a better perspective. And then, by all means, treat them to some wings!

The Buffalo Central Terminal is vacant, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a lot to offer. Your out of town guests will appreciate the history behind this Buffalo landmark. Book a tour to learn all about it!

The Albright-Knox is usually the go-to gallery, but the Burchfield Penney is a great spot for those with an eye for art. Browse the galleries and carve out some time to stay for a while at the cafe.

This destination is perfect for a leisurely stroll or to take in some of our city's history. Be sure to swing by the Blue Sky Mausoleum and the burial grounds for Buffaloving celebrities!

Give your out of town guests a different perspective of the city - literally. The Buffalo City Hall observation deck gives you a beautiful bird's-eye-view, perfect for snapping photos of your visitors!

The OLV Basilica is a functioning church and national shrine located in South Buffalo. Take your visitors on tours of this amazing destination while they're in town. Religious or not, they'll certainly appreciate the detail in this shrine!

Depending on the time of year, every visit to Buffalo should include a walk through the Japanese Garden. This is one of our favorite spots in the city, and we have no doubt it will become one of your out of town guests' favorites, too!

If you want to treat your guests to a night at the theatre, Buffalo has several great options. The most well known, of course, is Shea's. But this underrated theatre is a great alternative! The 710 Theatre seats 625 people and partners with local and national theatre companies as well as college theatre departments and touring productions.
