The One Of A Kind Tiki Tour You Must Take In Buffalo Before Summer’s End
Want to get away? As luck would have it, there’s no need for a passport to experience some of the island life from Buffalo. While it might not include white sandy beaches, this new downtown attraction is the next best thing! Hop on board a Buffalo Tiki Tour and read on to see what the hype is all about!
Buffalo Tiki Tours set sail from RiverWorks downtown.
Each tiki tour lasts 60 minutes and brings you along Buffalo's waterfront to some of the most beautiful downtown destinations. Get up close and personal to the Naval ships, Buffalo lighthouse, grain elevators, and - of course - RiverWorks on this island-style cruise.
No need to worry about your hair getting messed up on this tour! The tiki boat travels at a speed between 4-6 miles per hour, so you can enjoy good conversation and calm waters during your time "at sea." (Or lake, if we're getting technical.)
Captains of the Buffalo Tiki Tour boats are trained through U.S. Coast Guard requirements and always put safety first. There are life jackets available on board for each passenger, along with additional Coast Guard requirements such as a First Aid Kit. If you're planning on bring children on board (which is totally fine, by the way!), there are two available children's life jackets on the tiki boat, and arrangements can be made for more!
The tiki tour sets sail rain or shine thanks to the straw cover, although the captains do have the right to cancel due to inclement weather or rough waters. If, by some chance, your tour gets cancelled, you will get a rain check for a later date!
These tiki tours are a great option for bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday parties, romantic evenings (think: engagement on board!), and even small corporate gatherings. Buffalo Tiki Tours just added a second boat to keep up with the demand for events, so be sure to book ahead to schedule your date!
You can book your Tiki Tour for just $30 a person at buffalotikitours.com. There are still dates available through September for your personal island escape. (If you’re looking for an extra person to fill the seat, just let us know!)
