It’s no secret that Niagara Falls is one of the top tourist attractions near Buffalo, and while we might not like to be too closely associated with our neighbors to the north, living so close to a world wonder definitely has its perks! The Falls are amazing year-round, day and night, but winter might win the “Most Beautiful” award. This incredible winter fireworks show will fill you with wonder.

The areas surrounding the falls freeze over and get covered by fresh white snow. If the temperatures are really cold for a prolonged period of time, the falls themselves have even been known to freeze over!
While it's beautiful to visit during the day, we urge you to stick around for the show at night.

The Niagara Falls Illumination and Fireworks schedule runs straight through winter, and the displays are incredible!
The shows run throughout the winter on Friday evenings at 9:00 PM.

There are also bonus displays during the holidays, with shows every night from December 23-29.
The shows are dependent on the weather, so be sure to check the forecast before you head out!

Poor weather conditions (like high winds or rain) will, unfortunately, cause the fireworks displays to be cancelled. Safety first!
The lights were recently upgraded with LED technology for brighter displays and better energy efficiency.
