America’s Third Oldest Zoo Is Right Here In Buffalo And It’s Been Open Since 1875

You can find historic stops that are more than worth making all around the city of Buffalo, each one showing a different side of the city we’ve come to call home. Some of us will choose to explore the past by stopping into places like Ulrich’s 1868 Tavern – the oldest bar in all of the Queen City – or other notable destinations like the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site on Delaware Avenue. Whatever areas you decide to explore, you’ll want to be sure to add our local zoo to your list of things to do. Keep reading to find out why!

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:
