You Won’t Want To Miss This Incredible Festival Of Ships In Buffalo
Canalside sees several events throughout the year. Concerts, competitions, and community gatherings are the most common to see along Buffalo’s waterfront, but we’ve never welcomed anything quite like this before! Mark your calendars to save the date: you won’t want to miss this incredible festival of ships heading to Buffalo.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Carve out some time between July 4th through 7th next summer to see this amazing festival of ships.

During this event, several types of historic "tall ships" will be gracing the shores of Lake Erie. The event is free and open to the public!

This is the first experience of its kind to happen in Western New York and we're super excited about it!

The ships travel throughout the United States and Canada, making quick "port of call" stops along the way. Buffalo is a port city for the race for the first time next year!

The weekend will consist of family activities, historic exhibits, food and beverages, music, and a "Parade of Sail." Told ya' you won't want to miss it!

Once you experience the majesty of these vessels, we can almost assure you that you'll want a closer look!

Stand under the sails of these impressive vessels to get up close and personal with a piece of history. You'll feel like you've been taken back in time.
