Just over 40 miles from Buffalo, Moore's Maple Shack & Pancake House is one of our favorite places to visit during New York's highly-anticipated maple season.

For five generations, the Moore family has been making maple syrup here in the small town of Freedom.

In 1986, Moore’s Pancake House came to life and has been decorated with old knick-knacks, tools, sleds, and all sorts of vintage trinkets ever since.

Before you make your way back to Buffalo, you'll want to explore Moore's little gift shop that's set up within the Pancake House.
