9 Undeniable Habits That No Buffalonian Can Ever Unlearn
So here’s the thing about Buffalo… if you were raised in the 716, there are certain things that just seem to stick with you. From the way we pronounce certain words to the things we were born to hate, here are 9 undeniable habits no Buffalonian can ever unlearn.

When we learn to talk as children, this habit is worked right into our vocabularies! "The" 90, "The" 33, and all the major routes in and around Buffalo receive this moniker.

Many Buffalonians might not even know that pop has any other name. Unless you leave the 716, you'll likely never hear the word "soda."

You've likely turned your nose up at just the sight of these "Buffalo wings." The fact that there's ranch on the plate is a dead giveaway that these wings aren't authentic. Making fun of other places' versions of wings is a born and bred Buffalo habit.

If you're a true Buffalonian, your hatred for our rival sports teams runs deep. Rooting against the Patriots is a Buffalo habit no Buffalonian can ever unlearn.

We don't know what it is, but we just can't bring ourselves to change the station when the Goos come on the radio.

Buffalonians secretly love it when other places shut down due to a light dusting of snow. It gives us more reason to brag about our toughness!

Buffalonians might not be born night owls, but we slowly get there from years of trying to make it to last call at 4 AM. It's a Buffalo habit we might not always be proud of, but we can almost always outlast out-of-towners during a night on the town!

This one is a Buffalo-area habit and doesn't quite encompass all Buffalonians. If you're guilty of muttering this phrase, yous guys know who you are!

If you're planning on dissing Buffalo, you might want to think twice. Defending our city is a Buffalo habit we just can't change - not that we'd ever want to.
