There’s A Donut Trail In Buffalo And It’s Everything You’ve Ever Dreamed Of
Moving away from Buffalo (and thus, away from Paula’s) is like living the punchline of “Want a hurts donut?” in real life; as in, “Hurts… don’t it?” If you need a donut fix but aren’t sure where to get your hands on the best of the best in Buffalo, we’re here to save the day! Make plans for your next free afternoon – or your next visit home to the 716 – and hit the road to experience this amazing Buffalo donut trail!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

When you talk Buffalo donuts, the conversation always ends at Paula's. For this tour, we're going to START here instead. There are several Paula's locations, but we're starting in West Seneca. Grab a peanut stick and let's hit the Buffalo donut trail!

Time to get Kraze-y! Donut Kraze has two Buffalo locations, each one serving up delicious donuts that will make your tastebuds go loco. Feed your appetite with "The Kraze" - bacon, sausage, and egg on a glazed donut with maple syrup. YUM.

Mazurek's Bakery is known for their rye bread, but their donuts are pretty darn delicious! Made fresh daily, this South Buffalo bakery offers several flavors of donuts and sweet rolls - and paczki on Fridays and Saturdays, too!

Fry Baby is both aesthetically pleasing and appetizing. This little shop just opened up on Elmwood Avenue and is totally Instagram-worthy. Their donuts are handmade and come in a variety of delicious flavors like raspberry jalapeño and "crazy" blueberry lime fritters. The most unique part? All of Fry Baby's donuts are vegan!

Finish up on the Buffalo donut trail with a visit to Famous Doughnuts, located on Main Street. Grab a baker's dozen to bring home to satisfy your next donut craving. Oddly enough, we recommend filling your to-go box with plenty of plain. Famous Doughnuts does it better than the rest!

*BONUS* Still not satisfied from the donut trail? Seek out Duke's Donuts anywhere along the way for a homemade apple cider donut that will seriously shock your tastebuds. They're THAT good. Duke's usually sets up shops at local farmer's markets and events, so be on the lookout for their bright orange tent (or just follow the smell)!
