Coming up soon in the month of September, you’ll find people from all over the city traveling to one of our favorite waterfront spots to enjoy a festival that’s truly unlike any other. The annual Chalkfest Buffalo event will take place on September 14-15, 2019 at Buffalo RiverWorks.
You may be familiar with chalk festivals, as they've become a country-wide hit in many different states, but Buffalo's event is much more unique than others.
Not only will you find artists chalking outside on the blacktop, Chalkfest Buffalo also gives artists the chance to put their works of art on the inside of our city's historic silos and grain elevators as well!
But wait, there's more! This year's festival will be bigger and better than ever, featuring more artists and offering tons of other activities at the event.
When you're not busy watching the chalk art come to life beneath the beloved the zipline course and around the hockey rinks, you'll be able to enjoy other activities here as well.
Whether you're getting your face painted and dancing to the live music or grabbing sweets from the candy shop and watching the football game, the entire family can enjoy a day of fun here at Chalkfest Buffalo.
