Mirror, mirror on the wall… who’s the fairest (city) of them all? We’re admittedly biased, but we like to think that Buffalo is home to some of the most beautiful places. Here are 20 spots that help to prove our point:

1. Wilkeson Pointe
Wilkeson Pointe on Buffalo's Outer Harbor is a popular spot to catch a sunset or enjoy an afternoon picnic. The views from this beautiful Buffalo location are stunning, and photos don't do it justice! Find it at 225 Fuhrmann Boulevard.
2. Tifft Nature Preserve
We've expressed our love for Tifft before, so it should be no surprise that it made the list for most beautiful places in Buffalo. Between the wildlife viewing, boardwalk walking, and great photography opportunities, Tifft is a must-see spot in Buffalo! The nature preserve is located at 1200 Fuhrmann Boulevard.
3. City Hall
Buffalo City Hall is one of the most impressive architectural gems in the city. You can't not be taken aback by its beauty when you look up at the details on the building, and while it's beautiful from the outside, the inside has even more room(s) to impress! Take a look for yourself at 65 Niagara Square.
4. Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens
Who doesn't love the smell of flowers and strolling through tropical gardens? The Botanical Gardens opens up a whole new world of beauty in South Buffalo at 2655 South Park Avenue.
5. Buffalo Harbor State Park
Life's a beach! Take it all in at Buffalo Harbor State Park, located at 1111 Fuhrmann Boulevard. This beautiful destination has a beach, boat slips, great views of the lake, restaurants for grabbing a bite to eat, a playground for the kids to enjoy, and more!
6. Japanese Garden
Visiting the Japanese Garden is like stepping into a fairy tale in Buffalo. This beautiful landscape was created alongside Japanese landscape architects to bring an authentically beautiful backdrop to the city. Get zen at 1 Museum Court.
7. Delaware Park
Meadow Drive is one of the most beautiful places in Buffalo, more commonly referred to as Delaware Park. This member of the Olmsted Parks System is a sight to see.
8. Niagara Falls
Although not technically IN Buffalo, Niagara Falls is certainly deserving of a spot on this list. The World Wonder contains powerful beauty that cannot be matched.
9. Kleinhans Music Hall
Kleinhans Music Hall is not only filled with beautiful music on the regular, the exterior of the building is beautiful, too! Pay a visit to this unique circular building in Buffalo at 3 Symphony Circle.
10. Shea's Performing Arts Center
Another great performance venue that doubles as a beautiful spot in Buffalo is Shea's. This theatre has tons of history and a whole lot to take in both inside and out. You can find it at 646 Main Street.
11. Richardson Olmsted Campus
While it might have a bit of a creepy history, the Richardson Olmsted Complex is certainly impressive. And now, a visit to the complex's interior with a stay at Hotel Henry makes this Buffalo landmark even more beautiful! To plan a trip, look for the complex's signature green peaks or plug 444 Forest Avenue into your GPS.
12. Guaranty Building
Remember when we said the Guaranty Building is the most beautiful in Buffalo? (http://www.onlyinyourstate.com/new-york/buffalo/underrated-building-buffalo/) We meant it! Take a tour of the building's interior to see why at 140 Pearl Street.
13. M&T Gold Dome
The M&T Gold Dome shines like a beacon of light in downtown Buffalo. The dome is beautiful both inside and out, and is certainly worth a visit! Find it at One Fountain Plaza.
14. Electric Tower
The Electric Tower stands out from the rest of buildings in Buffalo - literally! This beautiful skyscraper is the third tallest building in the city, and its beauty is especially apparent on blue sky afternoons and clear nights. See for yourself at 535 Washington Street.
15. Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society
Remember that Japanese Garden we mentioned? The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society is located adjacent to the gardens at 1 Museum Court.
16. Times Beach Nature Preserve
If you're a nature lover, Times Beach Nature Preserve is a must-see location in Buffalo. This nature preserve is located on the shores of Lake Erie and the Niagara River on Coast Guard Station S Road.
17. Our Lady of Victory Basilica
The OLV Basilica is located at 767 Ridge Road. This shrine and basilica is a popular destination for locals and out-of-towners alike. There are tours available of the building, and all are welcome to visit for mass.
18. Albright-Knox Art Gallery
The Albright-Knox Art Gallery contains beautiful art inside, and the exterior of the building is just as stunning! Find it at 1285 Elmwood Avenue.
Canalside's beauty is best viewed from a colorful Adironack chair on a warm, sunny day. Take in the views of the lake and the activities available at this downtown hub at 44 Prime Street.
20. Buffalo Central Terminal
Last but certainly not least, the Buffalo Central Terminal is a stunning piece of Buffalo's history. This abandoned train station has been painstakingly restored, and is available for events and tours at 495 Paderewski Drive.
