We’re big fans of fine dining and unique entrees. But sometimes you just have to stick with the staple items on the menu. If you’re looking to sink your teeth into some seriously delicious eats, you’ve come to the right place! Here are the 11 burgers you need to eat in Buffalo this year.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:
1. 100 Acres (444 Forest Avenue)
The menu at 100 Acres Buffalo is always impressive, but their burger tops our list of favorites. This delicious delicacy is prepared with onion marmalade, bacon, and melty cheddar cheese, and served with a side of crispy potatoes. 10/10 would recommend.
2. The Grange Community Kitchen (22 Main Street, Hamburg)
While we're on the topic of crispy potatoes... this restaurant will take you outside of city limits and will take your tastebuds to a whole new level. Both the atmosphere and the burger at The Grange Community Kitchen are top notch. Their double cheeseburger is topped with American cheese, pickles, onions, chili aioli, and — you guessed it — served with crispy potatoes. One bite of this burger and you'll be daydreaming about it for weeks to come!
3. Allen Burger Venture (175 Allen Street)
If quirky specialty burgers are your thing, head to Allen Burger Venture. This place never disappoints with their creations. We highly recommend the "Five" for a unique taste — peanut butter!
4. Juicy Burger Bar (1 Buffalo Street, Hamburg)
This is another southtowns spot that's worth checking out if you're in the mood for burgers. While basically anything on the menu is amazing, you'd be remiss not to try the "Weck Yo Self." Melted Swiss cheese, horseradish aioli, and a kimmelweck bun... yum!
5. SEAR (200 Delaware Avenue)
We declared our love for
6. Falley Allen (204 Allen Street)
What's better than chips and a burger? Chips IN your burger! Falley Allen is crushing the burger game with their Falley Burger: prepared with chip dip, salt and pepper chips, and pickles.
7. Marble + Rye (112 Genesee Street)
Marble + Rye has three burger options on their menu, each with its own specific taste. Stay safe with the classic hamburger or sink your teeth into the M+R Burger (topped with cilantro, roasted corn, pickled onion, and more)!
8. Stack Burger (174 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca)
Stack Burger is a West Seneca favorite, and for good reason. Their burgers are "always fresh" and always delicious. And customers swear by the "Hangover burger."
9. Vizzi's (967 Kenmore Avenue, Kenmore)
Vizzi's is another Buffalonian favorite, located in Kenmore. Their burgers are freshly prepared and piled high with delicious toppings.
10. Buffalo Proper (333 Franklin Street)
For a proper meal — head to Buffalo Proper on Franklin Street. "The Burger" might be simply named, but the ingredients are anything but ordinary. A Constanzo's bun, arugula, egg, and more all top this delicious dish!
11. Soho Burger Bar (64 W. Chippewa Street)
Soho is known by college students for the nightlife and by Buffalo foodies for their burgers! One bite of the Soho Burger and you'll see why you just can't go wrong with a stop to this popular place. It tastes just like a Big Mac — but worlds better!
