A 2.3-mile long loop, once you park you'll begin hiking along the Crag Trail that will take past beautiful open fields and through the forest.
It won't be long before you reach the Bonticou Crag Ascent Path, this is where the real fun begins!
Before you know it, you'll be standing in front of the biggest pile of rocks and boulders that you've ever laid your eyes on.

Yellow trail markers will lead you up this enormous rock pile, generally taking hikers anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to complete this entire scramble.
It's this intense part of the hike that earns itself a Hard difficulty rating. While the overall scramble is short, it's one that is more steep than you could imagine.
After you completing this unforgettable scramble, you'll be able to look down upon the gorgeous natural wonder that you just tackled.
From the top of these gorgeous cliffs, you'll have endless panoramic views of the Shawangunks and Wallkill Valley.
