On special occasions though, visitors will get the chance to explore Fort Ticonderoga on a day when they're hosting one of their exciting battle reenactments.
It's here that you'll get to see how the British managed to have the largest army in North American history to date, yet were defeated by the French army - a mere quarter of its size.
Another exciting thing about the fort's battle reenactments is that visitors also can choose to board the fort’s tour boat, where they can see the battle happen from out on Lake Champlain.
