The Pakatakan Farmers Market In New York Is Located Inside The Historic Round Barn

Happening on Saturdays in town, rain or shine, the Pakatakan Farmers Market is hosted at one charming and historic venue.

In the town of Halcottsville, one of the earliest entirely round barns inside New York State still stands in all of its glory - built back in 1893.

Today, you can actually shop around inside New York's historic Round Barn on Saturdays when the Pakatakan Farmers Market is up and running!

What was formerly a milking barn is now the host of one of our favorite farmers markets, operating out of the Round Barn since 1996.

It isn't just inside the Round Barn where you can find the market's vendors though!

As you explore the property, you'll discover things like picnic tables and more areas that house vendors.

If you've never shopped around here at the Pakatakan Farmers Market and Round Barn, you can expect to find quite the variety.

Like most farmers markets, you'll see a display of fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, pasture-raised meats, maple, jams, breads, and honey.

While attendees can also expect to find things like accessories, jewelry, quilts, plants, and locally made art for sale as well.

With so many vendors to check out, you'll surely work up an appetite! Thankfully, that's where all the breakfast sandwiches, sweets, and other ready-to-go snacks come in handy here at the market.
